knutsford wetroom installation This Knutsford wetroom installation involved a lot of prep work. To begin with, this was originally two rooms so the partition wall had to be knocked down and the ceilings joined and skimmed. The shower tray former was supplied by Porcelanosa as was most of the white goods and tiles. The shower cubicle area was fully tanked on the walls. Marmox waterproof boarding was used for the flooring together with Schluter tanking.
bathroom fitter cheshire This ensuite was previously a bathroom. The ceiling was skimmed and 4 downlights were installed. The plasterboard behind the old tiles was damaged so all walls were reboarded. A new ply floor was installed along with waterproof boarding for the underfloor heating. All white goods and tiles were supplied by Porcelanosa. The wall hung sink unit was made by using two wall brackets and building a ply box around it . This was then tiled.
cheshire bathroom fitter Bathstore supplied all of the white goods for this installation. The room originally had a large shower cubicle but the owners preferred the idea of a large 1800mm bath instead. Water pressure was low so a shower pump was fitted. Because the old tiles had damaged the plasterboard, the room had to be stripped back to brick and reboarded before any further works could commence. As with most installations, the ceiling had to be skimmed to hide the original artex. Tiles were porcelain and were supplied by Topfloors. A 2mm grout line was used throughout to create a seamless look to the room.
wetroom fitter cheshire This bathroom involved a lot more building work. An old airing cupboard had to be removed to allow for the shower cubicle to be installed. As the shower and bath were filled by digital units all water feeds had to be routed through the shower wall to the loft area. Tiles were Porcelain and supplied by Porcelanosa. An 1800mm whirlpool bath was fitted along with a Villeroy & Boch sink unit and bathroom cabinet. There were three lighting circuits for the room for different areas and speakers were installed in the ceiling connected to the Whirlpool bath radio. Electric underfloor heating was also installed. This difference between this room and the old bathroom was immense.
wetroom installer cheshire This groundfloor bathroom involved stripping the room back to bare brick. None of the walls were level so they all had to be reboarded ready for tiling. The artex ceiling was skimmed and new downlights were installed along with a showerlight extractor. All of the plumbing had to be re-routed and the exterior soil stack altered. The wall tiles were marble and supplied by Porcelanosa whilst the floor tiles were slate.
bathroom installations cheshire The owners of this bathroom wanted to keep the same layout but just renew eveything and give the room a modern but classy look. There are before and after pictures to show what changes took place. Because the water pressure in the property was low a shower pump was fitted next to the immersion heater which fed the shower and the bath. All items were purchased from B&Q.
bathrooms middlewich This groundfloor bathroom had very little space to work with. The owners wanted a shower as well as a bath so a P shaped bath was suggested. The sink unit and WC were compact sizes supplied by Bathstore whilst the bath, shower screen and panel came from B&Q. The ceiling was skimmed and 4 downlights were installed to create a modern look that would also maximise room space. Tiles were supplied by Wickes.

This bathroom was starting to look dated. The customers already had a large ensuite with a bath so they decided to change the main bathroom to a wetroom with full tiling and waterproofing throughout. The wetroom tray was supplied by Impey. The bathroom featured LED lighting throughout including LED srip lights hidden behind a false alcove in the shower area.

The customers in this bathroom no longer required a bath as they preferred showers. A quadrant shower was selected allowing for a larger feeling bathroom along with a wall hung sink and cabinet, and a back to wall WC. Full wall tiling using ceramic tiles was carried out along with porcelain floor tiles. The original floor was damaged and uneven so a new floor was installed. As usual the entire shower area was fully tanked prior to tiling

This ensuite had an awkward layout with a small cubicle shower enclosure. We decided to use the space available and install a 1700mm walk in shower. New fitted furniture was installed. The ceiling was skimmed and new chrome downlights were fitted along with a shower light extractor. A recessed shower valve was installed along with a 2bar shower pump. All walls were tiled to ceiling height and Karndean plank effect flooring was fitted.

This ensuite was small and dated. The owners wanted to create as much space as possible whilst also opting for a bigger shower. A Gerberit slimline hidden cistern was installed into the wall void and a wall hung sink and cabinet were fitted. New downlights were installed along with a quiet extraction system. The room was fully tiled using Villeroy & Boch tiles and grouted with Mapei Ultracolour grout. Under floor heating was also installed along with a Stuart Turner 3 bar twin pump that also serviced the bathroom.

This bathroom was looking very tired and was proving very difficult to keep clean. Bathstore supplied all items including the tiles. A Stuart Turner shower pump was installed in the airing cupboard to provide a more invigirating shower experience. The old polystyrene ceiling tiles were removed and the ceiling was skimmed. New dwonlights were fitted. Although the room was relatively small to begin with the owners managed to fit a lot in and had far more storage. This meant that the new bathroom was far brighter and easier to keep clean.
